About David Chidester

I started my journey in the “Internet” industry while in college working on various university department websites. While Interning at John Deere, I worked on Year 2000 software conversion and various ColdFusion Intranet web applications.

After graduating with a Management Information Systems degree from the University of Northern Iowa, I started work at i2 Technologies. While at i2, I worked on a number of ColdFusion based web applications and business application integration using WebMethods.

I was then hired as the Director of Informatino Technology for eSports Partners, an online eCommerce solution provider for a number of NFL and College teams. Here I was responsible for managing the development and support of 10 online stores for big name brands such as the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, University of Texas A&M, and the University of Arkansas.

Currently residing in Dallas, TX where I am responsible for Internet Marketing a leading computer memory manufacturer, EDGE Tech Corp. I was brought on to help get them selling direct with their online eCommerce website. I manage their web development, search engine optimization, link development, and paid advertising. In the two and a half years I have been with EDGE we have had significant success with their Internet Marketing initiatives.

I am available on a limited basis to provide consulting to businesses and individuals who are looking to produce results for their business. I do not sell pre-packaged services as every client has different goals. My goal as a consultant is to produce results, not a package or service.
